Once the frost has come and the frogs began to hibernate, you night think
there is nothing to do. Does it really happen this way ? In November we
had the honor to be nominee with Ford price for our program of study and
conservation Hyla Arborea species , program which was organize by
ROMCAR firm.
There were more than 100 organizations and foundations participating and
15 price where give at the competition. This means something: it made us
involve more. So…up to work.
I signed up for the post-university courses of Eco-Management of Technical
University Cluj-Napoca, being motivated by the necessity
of perfecting in matters of environment
.
The young once attend Superior School education, now more conscious than
even about the necessity of a lasting development.
Mass-media talked about the problems of Hyla arborea species, about the
results and the plans of actions for 2003, so our team increased its
number of members.
In view of an international collaboration, international institutions and
organizations have been connected,
which was impressed by what we did, in fact that we are only a group of volunteers, with lot of
passions and ready to do something for the environment.
Even though we don’t have ONG status, we managed to find some sponsors
from those who know it didn’t matter the way we are organized
but how we act and our results.
With this occasion we thank all the people involved for their support and
for the trust they had in us. But winter passed and it’s time for some
efficient actions.
