1. The arm of these project is to study the behavior of as well as the
conditions of the environment favorable to Hyla Arborea and to draw the
attention of the public regarding these species and its virtual extinction due
to pollution and urban development.
This project which will last for 5 years (a complete life cycle) will start
by marking specific individuals and will continue by electronic survey and
automatic analysis of result .
These results will appear be found on the INTERNET and will be periodically
brought-up-to-date.
2. Objectives : The project focuses on 2 objectives which will run
simultaneously:

chosen areas, having in view:
- Their reproduction in natural conditions (the identification of the
places used for reproduction as well as of the practical ways of
preserving then in the future.
- The growing and the rate of survival of the baties around the
habitat.
- Their spreading in the neighboring area.
- A possible connection between these reproduction areas and the
return of the young population to the habitat for reproduction.
- The encouragement of the human population living there to protect the
species and its habitat.
Objective 2 The reproduction and the study in captivity,
having in view:
- Artificial reproduction and now up to enlarge the number of
individuals reaching maturity
- The publishing of material for documentation.
Steps in the first objective:
- The presentation of the habitat in the period preceding the waking up
from hibernation.
- Its presentation in the following period having in view the hydrological and
- Ecological evolution.
- Studies regarding one dynamics of the population in relation to other
species surrounding the habitat.
- The marking of the individuals within the habitat which
- The surviving of the ponts and its development
- The spreading up of babies in the habitat
Step in the second objective.
- The capture of 3 couples
- Obtain the baby and there study
